Sound Bites & Snap Shots

This year for Father’s Day we kept things really simple. Chinese food is one of Bill’s favorites, and coincidentally something he did often with his own dad, so it was especially fitting that the boys treat Bill to dinner at China Bistro.  This is becoming our celebration restaurant.

We recognized Bill with more of a gesture than a big ticket item.  We took his favorite bottled water which is peach and updated the labels.  Then each of us wrote out reasons why Bill is special to us.

I think you are peachy because you help me with my projects.   ♥ Walker

I think you are peachy because you spend your free time with us.   ♥ Walker

I think you are peachy because you watch what we want to watch.   ♥ Walker

I think you are peachy because you know so much about everything.   ♥ Walker

I think you are peachy because you teach the boys life skills.  ♥ Suz

I think you are peachy because you draw from a hidden reserve of energy and put the boys first even when you are exhausted.   ♥ Suz

I think you are peachy because you teach the boys how to be good, respectful sons.   ♥ Suz

I think you are peachy because you push out of your comfort zone and participate in activities you might not choose to do if given your druthers.   ♥ Suz

I think you are peachy because you have a great sense of humor with the boys.   ♥ Suz
