This morning came much too quickly for our family. We had an amazing summer filled with loads of travel, camping and adventure and we were on the go a lot. With camps just wrapping up last week for both boys, we could have used a few more home days to prepare and rest up for school. That being said, the day is here and we greeted it with smiles.
Mason is starting the 7th grade at St. John the Baptist. He was pleased to learn his homeroom teacher would be Mr. Arvin. He will continue playing the trumpet and perhaps add some extracurricular activities like speech this year.
Walker is now a Sophomore at Signature School. Time is flying! His year promises to be academically rigorous and challenging as he has six AP courses this year.
The principal at SJB tweeted this photo of smiles today. Mason’s cameo in the back amused me. Some of us were clearly more excited to be back at school than others.
don’t blink or the year will be over
