We made a last minute decision to head to St. Louis for a Sunday afternoon baseball game. Guests over 16 got complimentary hats which we desperately needed on this afternoon. Our seats were in a prime location but in the direct sun. It was so hot that Mason and I almost burned our legs when we sat down.
I went to work on my Chaco tan. Mason is going to win but he and I have a little friendly competition going.
Mason, the ice cream fan that he is, happily collected another MLB helmet.
Between innings, I put a few rounds on my sock.
The scoreboard confirmed the temperature at 97 degrees.
It was fun to go to a game where the home team won. The Cardinals beat the NY Mets with a score of 6-0.
The game time was under three hours so we had a little time to kill at IKEA before dinner. Tonight we chose Nami Ramen. We rate it a winner and Mason would recommend it to a friend.
Whew …..you sure had a hot one. Ken saw the Cubs play the Cards last year when in St. Louis for work.
So much baseball. If I weren’t awake when you were born I’d think you might have been switched at birth. ??
