When we were at Camp Ondessonk for eclipse weekend, Mason completed a service project for his lodge arrowhead by helping reset the meeting room for the workshops. During the set up, the camp director commented to Bill that the chairs were functional but pretty unsightly. A light bulb went off and Mason proposed that he and Bill try to steam clean the cushions.
Bill rented a second steamer and they worked together on the seats.
Although the photo might not show it, in person there was a remarkable difference.
They worked for about five hours and tackled a large number of chairs. The director was really pleased with Mason’s hard work. Now all that is necessary for Mason to receive his lodge arrowhead is the sewn sashes. Hurray!
