Lodge week kicked off for Mason last Sunday. He stayed in Brebeuf in the Boxer cabin. We spotted Mason on Bunk 1 really hamming it up when he knew the camera was on him.
Carrying the water baby on the all day hike with Will
Playing games with Bella and others at Kane Lake
Chilling on Monday’s all day hike to Mini Pakentuk
Heading down the slide in Mini Camp Village
Dancing with Sadie
Horsing around in the stables with Ashton
Doing tug-o-war before marathon games
Seeking shade with Ava
and proudly displaying the garland he made with sleeves from every unit’s shirt.
New this year was the lodge banner. Mason’s handprints are the grey ones in the very top right corner. The message under Lodge Camp 2018 reads, “It’s more than the cabin walls or the morning bugle call. It’s something you can’t touch but you can hold so dear.”
Today’s pick up was bittersweet. We were so happy to see Mason but lodge week marks the end of summer at camp. Thankfully, we have one more camp adventure on the books to look forward to over Labor Day weekend.
