Tonight the scout house was full! Considering it was only a year or so ago when we were wondering if the troop would survive without any cubs crossing over, this was amazing. The older scouts got to help the younger ones with rank advancement.
Mason helped Andy with knot tying skills. In the process learned he did not know how to fuse rope. Foot and fire are two things scouts love.
The meeting ended with the Scoutmaster’s minute and the closing vespers.
Our troop had a low year once and bounced back too! Now we have girls, which I am kinda meh about, but Joel didn’t care (and truthfully was getting too busy to go to scouts…well let’s just say he moved on….most of the time there was a conflict, but even when there wasn’t he didn’t prioritize it.)
