Hello, Wednesday! Thank goodness for my routines. They help me stay grounded even when I don’t sleep well and feel aimless. Today I got up and out the door for a nice walk with my podcasts. Many of my favorite podcasters are staying consistent with their schedules, thank goodness. Perhaps we are all craving that regularity.
I had a few things to send off in the mail and I was able to get them posted. I shipped a few small gifts. The ear bud pouch was sent to Amanda to corral those pesky cords that get tangled up in a bag and the little squares went off to Monique for makeup and face washing.
Mason was busy keeping up with his art journal.
For dinner tonight I made these lentil cups, a spin on meatloaf. They have a dollop of BBQ sauce in the top and are baked in silicon cups.
Reflecting back on the day, I am grateful that we were all home for dinner and that we are a happy and healthy family. I’m grateful too for my knitting. I have grand plans and lots of inspiration. The charity hats are falling off my needles and my pile is growing. My soul thrives on using my creativity for the benefit of others. Speaking of which, I got a lovely text from my friend today.
Sam gave birth to her fifth daughter just as our world shut down and I have yet to meet the baby. However, I see that the baby is thriving and they are enjoying a gift I made several years ago. It sure is great to have friends!
