Several weeks ago we got the news we had all been hoping to hear: Leslie and Jason were finally getting married!
The wedding took place today at St. Thomas More Church in Tallahassee and was celebrated by Father Tim. We were all invited to participate via live stream.
This was my first virtual Covid wedding. It was almost as good as being there, especially since I would have otherwise had a hard time traveling in the pandemic.
Leslie was a beautiful bride. She waited a long time for the right man to appear for her and she was glowing.
I hope all of their days together are laced with love and laughter.
Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Jason!
Though Leslie’s mom was not physically present at her wedding, she was definitely there in spirit. The florist incorporated pieces of her mother’s wedding veil and her photo in Leslie’s bouquet.
Another special touch was this ring photo with Auntie Faye’s missal that my uncle gave her when they were dating.
Here is my cousin Dean with his little sister, the bride.
Now their family photo includes Dean, Uncle Mel, Kendra (Dean’s daughter), Leslie and Jason.
The wedding was followed by a small reception where it looks like fun was had by all.
(The official wedding photos taken by the photographer were added after the fact.)
