Bill and I woke up naturally and had time to ease into the day. We went out early to walk the fingers before the day’s responsibilities took over. It started out grey but then the sun came out. Many houses were festively decorated.
When we returned, Bill kindly wiped down the entire fridge and freezer and washed all of the components. It’s much easier to be thorough when it is empty but I wish the repair hadn’t precipitated the activity. While he was cleaning, I worked on a craft project and made more coffee cozies. Meanwhile, I also got a few creative holiday ideas from the Down Cellar Studio vlogmas. She made the Christmas tree from paper that her little niece tore up and then framed it.
Tonight’s dinner was once inspired by necessity to use up what we had in the fridge so pasta primavera and bread was a perfect choice. I feel relaxed as we begin the last week before Christmas which is a very good feeling.
