We can’t catch a break from the snow days. I don’t know why, but I fell into the weather/food trap. It’s the one that dictates that when there is a big storm coming, one must run to the store for milk, bread and eggs because surely the way to survive in a storm is to eat French toast (or pancakes).
While I did not stock up on rations in anticipation, I did whip up gingerbread pancakes for the kids for lunch.
We passed the day catching up on cub scout requirements, writing thank you notes for Christmas gifts
and doing a little knitting. Here is a sneak peek of a gift in progress. I’ve got one done and one to go.
We are praying for school tomorrow because we are running out of snow days.
Ginger pancakes…sound wonderful!
They look very stoked about those ginger pancakes!
