The February pack meeting was our annual Blue and Gold Dinner. Besides offering all the scout families an opportunity for fellowship over a meal, it’s the time when the cub scouts are recognized for their accomplishments.
Mason’s Webelos leader was enthusiastic and poured his energy into the meetings. He taught the boys how to do copper pipe welding. With their newly learned skill, they created this amazing piece of art. They welded pipe together and mounted it to the board. It is going to have a special home now hanging at the scout house where all the packs and the troop meet. The boys were so proud of their project.
The boy scouts were also in attendance. They were invited to share some of the activities the troop does with the hopes that they would pique the interest of the cubs. They showed pictures from the some of the high adventure camps, talked about past troop campout and each one highlighted his favorite part of scout activities. Walker enjoyed the evening for the festivities as well as the meal.
