Time for the Christmas party! I popped in with a treat this time and left the game for other moms. Emily’s mom brought a Saran Wrap Ball in which she wrapped up trinkets, candy and gift cards. Here’s how they played the game:
The first person with the ball starts unwrapping while the person on their right rolls a pair of dice, trying to roll doubles.
Once doubles are rolled, the ball is passed to the next player and the sequence begins again.
The person with the ball does not stop unwrapping until the person to their right rolls doubles. This creates a wonderful suspense and urgency to the game!
You get to keep the treasures you unwrap along the way!
You can roll the dice to see who starts with the ball first! (ie: First person to roll a six)
The next game they played involved making teams and decorating one member of the group to look like a Christmas tree. They started covering Ashton with turquoise, added red and then put on the foil for tinsel.
This game always brings up tons of laughter and sends the kids off on Christmas break in a great mood.
I have to try The Saran Wrap Ball game! What fun ideas!
