Saturday morning bright and early we hopped in the car eager to pick up Walker from his two week stint at camp. We had a surprise for him!
For over a year, Bill has been planning on getting a personalized plate for the second Highlander aka Walker’s car. What could be more appropriate than Camp Ondessonk’s cheer? He ordered it after he transferred the plate to his new Mazda.
It was met with great delight and installed before we left camp grounds.
Now, the sights from Walker’s second week of camp when he was assigned to a unit were not plentiful but we did see a few.

The Friday night skit at the closing campfire
Walker learned a lot about the role of a counselor, working with kiddos and guiding them through some common and uncommon pitfalls at camp. He is already hoping and planning to return next summer for more.
