Today the boys and I took a field trip to the Vanderburgh 4-H Fairgrounds. One of our friends shows pygmy goats. We were lucky enough to see her and them while we were there. The goats were fun and someone in our house might now want to have a goat reside in the backyard. We are not encouraging that at all.
At the Vanderburgh Fair, there is a huge display of farm equipment or perhaps I should say, there is a display of huge farm equipment. In this case, both ideas are correct.
We took some time to look at the projects. Iām always on a mission to see new ways to meet the requirements and to admire the work of the talented youth. There were quite a few of these string pieces.
Collections is one of the projects that we think Mason might like to take to fair next year. My mission was to see what was popular as well as how they were displayed.
Look at the collection of flags made of Legos by a third grader.
This assortment of tickets was very impressive with the mounting and additional memorabilia that he included.
I liked this one because it was a poster to show the collection of Lego Cars. Instead of bringing the physical item, the Legos were staged and cleverly photographed.
Finally we strolled through the cupcake contest. The minions, cowboy hats and spaghetti and meatballs were our favorites.
We had an enjoyable afternoon with our friends and got a lot of inspiration for next year.
I want you to have a Pigmy goat in your back-yard. Think of the time savings re: lawn mowing :0) They look so cute too.
