A few years ago when we went to Michigan for Thanksgiving with the Sandersons, Jordan made us a very special turkey.
Bill’s office is having a Thanksgiving themed potluck tomorrow and he always likes to take something vegetarian and healthy. I offered to make him a turkey.
I have a very sizable tray from Crate and Barrel that is easily 14 inches in diameter. I found out in the process that means it holds A LOT of vegetables.
I made spinach dip and placed it in a hollowed out red cabbage. The rest of the vegetables were grape tomatoes, celery, red and yellow peppers, broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. We can’t forget the yellow squash head and the features which Mason added: cloves for the eyes, radish for the nose and red pepper for the wattle.
It probably weighs as much as a 10 pound turkey and it will feed an army. Gobble, gobble!
Mason’s rendition of the turkey head is just FABOO. I like it better than Jordan’s.
You’re artistic style just rock Star!
