While I was out in California, Bill was back doing better than holding down the fort. He got Mason off and settled at Boys’ Week at Camp Ondessonk. As usual, they got there early with enough time to tailgate at the entrance.
Heepwah! It looks like Mason was one of the first to get through the line and get his unit assignment. He really wanted Chabanel which is a unit under a gigantic sandstone amphitheater. The cabins are connected by a catwalk and there is a waterfall that trickles into a pond and stream below.
Because of all the recent rainfall, the trickle of a waterfall was pretty constant and the tarp was hung.
After the swim test, Mason donned his unit shirt and settled in. Bill and Walker returned, picked up Chinese food for dinner and sat down for a marathon viewing session of Doctor Who until 1 AM!
It is safe to say that good times were had by all.
