Have I mentioned that the Boy Scouts camp about once a month? This month the camping has a special slant—Troop 330 and Pack 330 are camping together. The group of Boy Scouts is smaller this month so they left with the trailer from our house. It was loaded to the gills with all of the supplies that both the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts would need. The plan is that the older boys will head up tonight and set up camp. Tomorrow mid-morning the cub scouts will arrive.
The benefit of a joint venture is that the Boy Scouts get to do some teaching and modeling of scout skills to younger scouts and, in families like ours, older and younger brothers get to camp together. Win, win!
Walker, Tristan, Joseph, Mike and Bill left tonight. I know there will be a cracker barrel snack involving biscuits and frozen pizza bites around the fire. Mason and I will head on up to the campground in the morning after our big delivery arrives.
