Every year we give the teachers a box of Trader Joe’s Jo Jos. They are about one of the easiest things to wrap because the boxes are all the same. This year I dressed them up with a pompom using a skein of yarn that I had inherited from a craft project that Walker did at school. The pompoms ate up all of the yarn and the packages now look a little prettier.
I spent the morning sorting out all the popcorn prizes to distribute at the pack meeting tomorrow night. The two boxes of prizes exploded all over my kitchen floor as I matched the scouts’ orders with their items. Then I had to count out raffle tickets, one for every $50 sold. Only a few times did I panic that I didn’t have the correct number of flashlights or Leatherman tools. How was I supposed to know that there were three different varieties? All that being said, the patches, pins, finger lights, survival bracelets and the like were all sorted out properly.
In the end, it all worked out and I was ready to go before the kids got out of school!
You are amazing!
Woohoo! Look at all the poms! Great job with the scout organization… do you get a badge for that? 😉
