For as long as I can remember, the scouts from Troop 330 have had a very important Christmas eve duty. They are responsible for prepping the walkway at church with luminaires. It is not hard work but the more hands on deck, the faster it goes.
We were blessed with an amazing day weather-wise. It was in the 60s! Some years it’s freezing so this was a wonderful treat.
We got them all prepared for Captain D who has been the head candle lighter for many years. It’s a duty he takes very seriously.
I can’t wait to return tonight for Midnight Mass.
Forgot how lovely (yet odd) that weather was for luminarians! (I made that up.)
