Sunday rolled around faster than we would have liked. We were up early, had breakfast in the hotel and dashed off to St. Patrick Church for 7:30 am Mass.
On our way to St. Patrick, we passed by Hotel Zetta and noticed some pretty neat art in the lobby. It was so intriguing that we wandered inside to get a better look.
Scrap Metal Dog was created by Brian Mock using nuts and bolts, screws, old tools, kitchen utensils, rod and metal tubing, bearings and automotive parts, washers and general industrial scrap metal.
The Illuminated Spectacles by Lusive Décor is 8 feet tall and is composed of 600 pairs of glasses and 80% recycled steel. Those pieces likely wouldn’t work in every space but they really enhanced the aesthetic of this boutique hotel lobby.
We quickly checked out of our hotel after Mass and headed off to SFO for our early flight. Smooth travels landed us on time in Nashville but we drove into an awful storm. Thankfully, we made it home safely.
