I planned my knitting for the trip to be something simple. I bought this Paton’s sock yarn about a month ago and knew that as soon as I finished my St. Patrick’s Day socks, these would be next in the queue. I needed spring colors and flowers. This color way is called Meadow Stripes. It reads happy, happy all over it. I cast on this sock as we drove out of Newburgh on Friday night.
This is where I was on Saturday morning first thing.
Saturday I tucked it in my purse and knit in line at the museum and whenever I had a minute.
I cast off the sock when we were watching the kids beat the clock in the maze. By the time we headed home, I was casting on the next sock. It’s one of the fastest socks I have ever knit. I can’t wait to finish it.
“All things bright and beautiful”. You certainly use your time well.
I love the colors!!
