Presenting the Chicken Boots Project Bag by Sew Sew Live. I was introduced to Chicken Boots bags a few years ago and I was very impressed by their quality and workmanship. The owner has shifted her focus from production to pattern writing and was looking for people to test for her. I was so excited to get the opportunity to make this bag myself.
This Project Bag stands upright, has straps that fit over the shoulder and has a divided interior. There are three pockets on the bag including one made with vinyl.
I used a piece of Mary Engelbreit fabric I had with coordinating fabric from my stash and I bought the vinyl, stiffener and straps. The pattern comes with a video of Saremy, the designer, completing the bag herself which is immensely helpful. I encountered a few challenging steps in completing this intermediate pattern but in the end, I was really proud of myself and how it came out.
I enjoyed stretching myself with this project and hope I have the opportunity to do another test for her in the future.
Wow!
