Last Wednesday was the long awaited release date of the Play Station VR. This video game console has been on Mason’s radar for months. Ever since we went to Louisville to give it a test run, he has been scraping every penny he could earn or find into his piggy bank to buy it.
Right after the White Mass, Mason and I went down to Game Stop and got in line for one of just a few VRs that were to be available at that location. They gave us a number and told us to return at 11 PM. Thanks be to the video game gods, we were able to bring one home. That was the good news.
The bad news was that at 11 PM on the night before we were to leave for California, we could not set it up or play it. It would be six long days before he would get to play it.
Tonight Mason took this baby for a spin. I do believe it was everything he was hoping for and more.
