Although Mason was home for just an hour and was quite dirty and exhausted after a week of camp, he really wanted to go to his friend’s birthday party Saturday afternoon. Mason wanted to so something special for his friend and I like consumable gifts so I suggested lunch and a movie on Sunday. Our afternoon turned even more spectacular when Bill realized that Ant Man was showing in the Royal Suite. In this theater, the seats are recliners and there is full service. The fare is a cross between bar food (burgers, pizza, wings and appetizers) and of course, there is popcorn and movie theater snacks. The best part is that the food is delivered by a server so there is no getting up for anything other than the restroom.
Mason and Walker discovered the Royal Suite while I was in Los Angeles. Bill treated them to the new Minions movie that time. The movie tickets and foods are priced at a premium but every now and then, it’s worth it to live a little at the theater.
Who can object to a little luxury? The boys will remember it forever!
Wow! That is the life! 🙂
Sounds great! Do I dare ask how much thosue tickets cost?
The matinee tickets are $11 and $14 for the other showings. I’m not sure how those prices compare to other regions. I feel like the premium food prices really add up quickly.
