I secretly have been knitting for the boys on and off over the last few months but I finally able to let the cat (ok, frog and bunny) out of the bag yesterday.
The frog was an easy choice for Walker, the frog kid. I knit his first and worked on it a lot during the trip I took to my family reunion in September. All those digits took time!
The bunny idea came to me when Mason’s love for magic appeared. Every magician needs a bunny to pull out of a hat, right?
The patterns are designed by Susan Claudino and are really well written. The appendages are knit ahead and then joined to the body as the stuffy comes together so the only thing that needs to be done at the end are the facial features. I’ve knit many of her designs over the years and each time, I fall in love with them just as the boys did here.
Love them, especially the frog. You know how much I love frogs since you knitted me one already.
I also have strong feelings for the bunny and his yoga poses.
Still amazed at your knitting, since I can’t knit a straight row!
Reading this again is as much fun as the first time. Interesting to note the down dog pose is one of Sophia’s. This gives Mason another reason to love Kris bunny
