Court was in session today. The Court of Honor, that is.
We had many awards and rank advancements.
Before beginning the court of honor, the scouts grill burgers and hot dogs for the families.
After lunch Walker, the senior patrol leader, led the court of honor. He called up Zack to advanced the color guard and Luke to gave the prayer.
Andrew led the pledge of allegiance.
Captain D gave out awards and Mason picked up his wilderness survival, woodcarving, pioneering and metalwork merit badges.
Just before we ended this court of honor, Bill passed the torch as the scout master to Brad. Bill plans to stay involved as an assistant scout master. He has served the troop for many years and he is looking forward to stepping back a little. Hurray!
