Most of my knitting time has been spent on this sweater. It’s a pattern in testing stages and I’m modifying it with the designer’s help. There have been some challenges along the way and I am discovering that I tend to shy away from things that are hard for me to work through. See the sleeves? One is not the right circumference; it’s much too small! The solution is to rip it back and start again. Ugh! There are so many things of greater significance in the world right now that I am having to constantly remind myself that “It’s just knitting.”
Today’s highlights included doing good turns. I delivered the staples to food pantry that Bill bought earlier this week and then since I was out, I did a good turn for the boys. I brought each of them a surprise beverage when I picked up my liquid gold from Starbucks. I don’t go for coffee unless I am already out of the house so this was a treat for all of us.
The bathrooms got a good cleaning and the laundry got done. Tonight we also ordered dinner in from Ghost Quesadilla, a new spot in town. Note to self, get the quesadillas and skip the street tacos. That being said, since we are cooking and eating all our meals at home, the carry in entrees were a treat for us all.
