If there is one person who is really knitworthy, it’s one of my favorite baristas as Starbucks. For a long time, Jessica has been admiring our projects. Not only is she incredibly complimentary, she gushes over them. I had been wanting to ask if she’d like me to knit her something and a few months ago, the opportunity to ask her about that finally came up.
She said she would like socks. I gave her a choice of yarns in my stash and they became these.
I could not have been more delighted with how she reacted to them and how well they fit. She put them on immediately (at work!) and then proceeded to gush over them to the other customers.

speaking of labor – my niece is expecting a baby, so in December (when they find out gender/pick their nursery theme/colors) I will start making a quilt!! It has been a long while.
