Today was a snow make-up day but since we only used one snow day last November, we actually had the day off. It was quite amusing to awaken to four inches of snow which fell overnight. There was no worry about whether or not school would be cancelled. It just was. Bill is off on Mondays so he was home too.
Fairly early, the boys dressed and went out to play. They sledded, played with friends and then came in for warmth. I watched from inside with knitting on my lap until mid-afternoon when I shoveled the sidewalks, walkway and driveway. By the time I finished, my fingers were frozen. I eventually thawed enough that I could resume knitting and I assumed my position back on the couch.
It remains to be seen if there will be school tomorrow but I’m guessing we will be home and hunkered down again.

Billis off on Mondays??? The busiest (and most hateful) day in a pedi’s office?? How did he wrangle that?
