Yesterday was mostly an admin day. Bill had to work in the afternoon at the Covid clinic but had the morning free since it was technically his day off. We were both industrious. I did elf work for Christmas and Bill patched the hole in the tub. The contractor stopped by and we now have a plan for how the damage under the house will be repaired.
In the afternoon, I zoom knitted with my friends while Bill worked. The boys and I had dinner together from Salsarita’s and waited for Bill to return.
This morning Bill took the boys to Louisville to do Christmas shopping. This tradition started a few years ago and they have learned how to accomplish a lot in a few short hours. Home alone I reveled in the silence and tackled my own to do list. I baked three batches of Christmas granola, did several loads of laundry, wrapped quite a few gifts and worked on my blog.
Tonight we zoomed mass in Lismore, Australia with Bishop Greg of the Diocese. The mass was actually filmed at the Carmelite Monastery in Goonellabah, NSW. My mother would have delighted in the Latin hymns. We picked up dinner from our favorite Mediterranean restaurant and called it a day.
Christmas granola sounds lovely!
