We have long given up on letters from the boys from camp. They are too busy having fun and the walk to the mailbox is just too far. Never mind that there are mailboxes at the dining hall and the trading post where meals are eaten daily and ice cream is purchased equally as often. Now we just remind them to smile for the camp photographers so we know they are alive. Sometimes Bill and I even get a moment of glory.
Walker was in CIT training this first week so we only saw Sunday pictures of him.
He was happy to see staff members again like Alex, Nick, and Patrick.
We spotted Mason at the stables,
at the range,
heading off for the all day hike
and at the challenge course.
Justin was Mason’s Unit Leader for Session One. We have watched him grow up at camp too.
We got one picture of the boys together before saying goodbye to Walker and heading home with Mason. Happy campers!
