One of the benefits of the sheltering in place is that gas prices are dropping. Of course, the irony is that I have not been driving anywhere so I am not in need of much gas. Too bad we can’t store it.
On a daily front, today is Sunday and my family and I attended Mass from the comfort of our living room. I miss being at Mass at church but it is rather enjoyable to forego the commute and the parking lot rush.
The weather was again beautiful and Bill laid out all the mulch in the front yard. While he did that, I prepped the backyard garden area by pulling weeds. It was so nice to feel the dirt in my hands and to do something physical in the sunshine.
The day was rounded out with a spontaneous FaceTime call with Mom and Dad and a cameo from Laynie and Sophia. We are still enjoying Bill’s lasagna which made our Sunday night dinner even easier.
All in all, today was heavenly!
