Among the commendations that took place today at the last assembly were the presentation of the 4th quarter BUG Awards. BUG stands for Bringing Up Grades.
These are the 3rd quarter Bug Award Winners which I inadvertently missed posting earlier this year.
Along with these other boys, Walker received a certificate of participation for the Math Olympiad. I do believe the accomplishment that he was most proud of was for Advanced Reading. He earned the highest number of points of all the seventh graders for the year with a total of 758.7 points.
Walker was also recognized by his science teacher as one of the members of the SeaPerch team. The eighth graders leave for Baton Rouge in a few days for the SeaPerch Nationals. Yahoo!
We are so close to the end of the school year. We can almost taste summer!
