The first Thursday of the month is Bill’s day off so we got to hang out together. I let myself ease into the day and got out of bed a little later. I still had a bit of a headache and some nausea but as the day wore on, they vanished. It was literally 24 hours of discomfort.
After we each completed our morning admin tasks, we tackled the puzzle. We turned on the tunes and chatted while we worked. This is a tough one with large swaths of the same colors and we are chipping away at it slowly.
When the time came, Bill and I tag teamed getting Mason to and from school and then to and from the skate park. We were all able to sit together—all four of us—for a family dinner. Those occasions are rare and definitely a treat and I’m trying to savor each and every one.
