If you ask Mason what he likes to read currently, I would venture to say he’d respond cookbooks. This Christmas Walker gave him one called, Binging with Babish. The author, Andrew Rea, is a chef, filmmaker and presence on YouTube. In his cookbook he recreates recipes from favorite TV shows and movies.
Flander’s Hot Chocolate was one of Mason’s first picks from the cookbook. It is inspired by The Simpsons Movie. There is a whole array of dairy products on the ingredients list, two kinds of chocolate and a number of accoutrements to garnish with at the end. Mason went the extra step and even toasted the marshmallow with a blowtorch, because, why not?
