Because of all the snow, the annual 4-H Achievement Dinner was rescheduled from last Saturday to last night. Of course, we were free a week ago but the new date conflicted with the Iceman Game. Thankfully, one of the friends we have from the group texted us about how Walker had done.
He received the calculator for the State Electric Project and a pin for each of the the following: Consumer and Family Sciences, Electricity, Healthy Living, Cake Decorating and Creative Writing. All of these were awarded because of the way he described what he learned as he completed the projects he took to fair last summer.
Receiving recognition for any one of these would be great but to get so many all at once is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations, Walker!
