With the kids gone this week Bill and I had a few days to catch our breaths. For the most part, it was business as usual. Bill worked and I took care of things around the house.
Today he was off work and I suggested we go for a drive. Hemlock Cliffs is about an hour from here in the Hoosier National Forest. The trails were shady and deserted.
In fact, aside from the spiders and one other couple, we were all alone. It left room for lots of conversation as took in the sights and crossed fallen limbs.
On the way back, Bill hit an all time high on gas mileage in his new car.
Tomorrow we will head out to Camp Ondessonk to pick up Walker. It will be very nice to see him after his two weeks away.
