For Christmas Santa brought the kids tickets to see Jim Gaffigan. We had watched a few of his comedy specials on Netflix but I didn’t know much about him prior to seeing him perform live in Evansville. What we learned is that he is regarded as a “clean” comic using little profanity in his work. His material is often about fatherhood, observations, laziness and food.
The convenience of a local show was awesome. We had dinner prior to the show at one of our favorite restaurants downtown, Gangnam Korean BBQ.
Though it rained buckets tonight, that didn’t dampen the evening. Bill chivalrously dropped us off and picked us up and we had a wonderful family night.
