Today was the last day of the last session of the 2019 summer sessions at Camp Ondessonk. It’s always a very happy and very sad day on the camp grounds. This week good times were had by all. Mason attended Lodge Week, slept in the great unit of Raganeau and made more great friends.
Walker was willing (no surprise given his love for Ondessonk) to get up early and join us on the drive out to camp. While Bill and I waited for Mason to be released from the Old Dining Hall, Walker milled about, catching up with other counselors.
We were in no hurry to leave so Mason got to say goodbye in a leisurely fashion.
Good friends rule!
Breaking our typical tradition of Cracker Barrel for lunch, Mason suggested Wok and Roll, a Chinese buffet in Harrisburg before we made our way home.
Summer is winding down fast and furiously with only four more days until school starts.
