Mason has a new spin on the essential mask. Our consummate comedian placed a glass lid in front of his face and synched it in place with his hoodie so it was snug. It actually worked in its own way.
Today I started my day with a morning run with the bunnies.
Bill helped me flip our mattress and I followed up with clean sheets.
We discussed our will and made notes. We have been meaning to get this done and properly documented for years. If not now, when? Bill did a lot of research and we feel confident that our ducks are now in a row.
The world outside of our home was filled with lots of sunshine and Bill and Mason got to experience it firsthand. The two went on a run for art supplies. During the quarantine, Mason has led the most sheltered life of us all. The rest of us have gone out for work, to get groceries and carry out, and run the essential errands. He has not gone many places so I think this trip helped open the world up to him again.
On the way home, Bill brought me a caffeine free diet coke. I had really been craving one and they have been hard to come by. It’s the little things that speak volumes.
My knitting progress continues to be slow and steady. I just don’t want to grind to a halt.
In an effort to stay in touch with others despite the shutdown, I wrote some sunshine cards. While I hope the recipients smile, I do those for selfish reasons. They make me feel connected to loved ones when we can’t be in close physical contact.
Lastly, tonight for dinner I prepared the rajas con crema with the poblanos I roasted yesterday and they were delicious.
