The annual spring concert was held tonight at Reitz Memorial High School. The sky opened up and dumped buckets of rain upon all of the musicians and guests alike. However, that did not dampen the spirits of those in attendance.
Mason’s music teacher, Mrs. Buedel, once again selected pieces that highlighted the students’ abilities and each instrument helped to round out the sound.

My favorite part of this concert was the part in Creepy Crawlies that Mason played with just the mouthpiece of his trumpet. It sounded like a bunch of swarming bugs.
We have one more year of band remaining. How the time does fly!
