This weekend is the annual Frog Follies. Bill and I went again and this year, we bought our good friend, Danny. We’ve been friends for years but our lives have gone in many different directions. He was in the Air Force for a long time and lived all over the world. He retired from the USAF and now works for a civilian company in Nebraska. He had a training in Columbus, Indiana and drove down to hang out.
He and Bill always had adventures that involved cars so this was a great venue. I really enjoyed tagging along and listening to them catch up.
It was so comfortable to hang out with him again.
The boys loved hearing Danny’s side of the stories that Bill had told them and more stories about their dad from Danny’s point of view.
We all may have aged a bit but the real Danny hasn’t changed a bit.
