The weather warmed up outside, enough to cook outdoors but not enough to melt the ice in the creek behind our house. Of course, the boys were not in the least shy to use found sticks to stab holes in the ice. No one came back in soaked up to the knees, so I am guessing that the ice was solid all the way down.
Meanwhile, Bill slaved over the Dutch oven and prepared a great meal for Sunday night dinner.
There was even a little something left for the birds right in the bird feeder that Mason built himself.
No coats and ice…..it takes magical weather for that great combo! Lucky!
I was going to say what Becky said– the ice was frown but mason is wearing short sleeves!
You wouldn’t remember the summer we went through Yosemite on the way to Tahoe, but you and your sisters were playing in the snow while wearing flip flops and sundresses.
I’m definitely glad I did not have to be out in the cold! Blergh, ice!
