I’m predictable. I have to hope it’s not boring for those teachers and friends on our Christmas gift list because once again I made them granola using my standard recipe. I’ll forget by next year how much we gave and how many bags I packaged so for the record, I’ll post it here.
Signature School Teachers & Staff: 16 packages (10 ounce baggies)
St. John School Teachers & Staff: 19 packages (10 ounce baggies)
Knitting Friends: 6 packages (12 ounce baggies)
and Others (hairdresser, aesthetician and coffee acquaintances): 3 packages
I packaged it up in these cute bags I picked up at TJ Maxx and added tags I created. The majority of them said Merry Christmas and featured a manger but for SIG, I made a Happy Holidays tag with a snowflake. The latter had white tissue instead of red and green. The house smelled heavenly for weeks as I baked granola round the clock so it was a gift to us as well.
I was happy to deliver these to the SJB mailboxes today and Walker will take his later this week. This is one big checkmark off the Christmas list.
