After my niece, Camille saw the aprons I made for the swap and the one I sent to her mom, she voiced that she wanted one too. What a treat to make something for her! She and her mom went shopping for the accent fabric and sent it to me. These aprons are made from recycled jeans in the size of the person who will wear them. As luck would happen, Mason supplied those for us. It turned out that he brought home a pair of jeans from camp a few weeks ago that were not his. They had no name in them and the funniest part is that they were actually girls jeans. I guess some mom went shopping at a thrift store and purchased jeans to send to camp with her son. That’s the story I’m going with.
I followed the same tutorial I used before but this time, I wrote up some notes for the next time I make these. I hope Camille likes it!
Camille LOVES this apron! And it is so cute – the story of the girl jeans just adds to it’s character! Thank you!
Second that, Camille LOVES her apron.
Cute!!!
