Today we got word from the executive director that one of the students at Walker’s school tested positive for Covid-19. All school close contacts were notified and instructed to follow the Vanderburgh County Health Department’s newly updated guidelines including quarantining.
The director reminded us to keep our child at home if he feels sick and continuing to talk to him about the importance of wearing masks, practicing good hygiene, not sharing food or drink, refraining from hugging or physical contact, and social distancing.
Thankfully, Walker did not have any close contact with him.
At dinner Walker shared that the news sources like the Courier and Press focus on the 22 students who were quarantined. This is not the press that Signature would want but I anticipate that there will be many more cases there and at many of the schools in the area.

This type of thing is going to happen a bunch for the next few months! Sigh
