The weather alerts started Sunday night with warning that snow was coming and due to the timing and the amount, many guessed schools would be closed. Sure enough, we used our first snow day. As luck would have it, Bill was home too (since Mondays are his day off). There was shoveling, snowballs, and plenty of tromping through fresh snow to test out the new boots. It looks like the snow will stick around for another few days but hopefully school will be back in session tomorrow.
