Holy Week Art Assignment (Apr 7, 2020 at 1_28 PM)

I have not seen much of Mason’s sketchbook but he likes to draw and enjoys art a lot. This is his Holy Week assignment. To enhance his at-home art experience, Bill took him to get new markers. His work is even more vibrant now.

Meanwhile, getting physical is the key right now.  I was so happy to wake up today and see two of my favorite knitters, Cori and Amber, had recorded an extended episode together.  This should help pass at least two hours on the Bow Flex over two days. I’m so grateful that even in these times, they have been consistent with their episodes.

The day we went into shut down, I had sent in several dozen cookies to Signature for an evening event.  I almost always use something I have repurposed or am recycling so that nothing needs to find its way home to me.  For some reason, this time I didn’t. My Rubbermaid container was well labeled but it’s gone MIA. Today the secretary asked me for a photo of the twin I have at home in the hopes that maybe it will turn up. Obviously, I am (quite) attached to my containers.

I pumped out another charity hat today. It is fun to see how the colors marl when I use multicolor skeins.

Science Fair Project Boards (Apr 7, 2020 at 8_53 AM)

Mason is finishing up his science fair project, a report on ADHD.  We have no idea if these boards will be seen by anyone other than us and the teacher.  I sense that Mason is really beginning to miss his friends and his level of boredom is rising. The quarantine is taking its toll.

Little things that are making me happy today include my collection of vintage hankies, a YouTube video from the SJB choir, and a family constitutional after dinner. These walks outdoors are energy giving which is definitely what we need right now.
