Capitol Class 3_thumb

Mason summarized Wednesday with just a few words:  breakfast, bus, two stops and home. I bet there was a lot of YouTube and Snapchat going on too.

Today’s post includes some of the photos that didn’t quite fit in other places but that I wanted to include. Each day the students had a dress code which helped me keep the days straight.

Shrine Immaculate Conception Mass 2

Sunday was the SJB school polo.

House shirts

Monday was their house shirts. (To understand the concept of houses, think Harry Potter but with a Catholic spin.) Mason is in the Gratia House and wears blue.

8th grade class shirt

Tuesday they wore their class shirts. Thanks, Mason, for the selfie.

There were a lot of group shots taken of the Class of 2020.

Their principal, Mrs. Flatt, was willing to go out on a limb for this photos or should I say, go up on a limb?

Three Generations

I couldn’t skip a mention of the tour director, Mrs. G, seated on the left.  She is our principal’s mother and the grandmother of Mason’s classmate, Aubrey on the far right. She and her daughter, Mrs. Flatt in the middle, run a tight ship but keep things fun too.

Mr. & Mrs. Flatt

Finally, Aubrey’s dad, Mr. Flatt, also chaperoned the trip. Aubrey might have been the only student who had three relatives with her.

The bus rolled in at 9:45 pm and Mason was home! Everyone is expected to be at school tomorrow bright and early.
