Zoom, Zoom

Until this pandemic hit, I had no idea what Zoom was and now it’s become a verb in my lexicon.  I have been zooming a lot and it’s been a lifesaving way to stay connected to folks.

Today everyone was home and both boys had school.  I can’t recall if I mentioned it before but Walker is in school Monday through Thursday and Mason is in school Tuesday through Friday.

Today I am grateful for the ease to move in my body.  I was able to workout on the exercise machine for an hour before the sun got up.  I was able to get on my hands and knees to clean the floors.

I am now doing some prayer pairing.  It’s easy to be sedentary and move little.  It’s also easy to get down about how many people are dying from Covid and the fact that we don’t know how long we are going to be sheltering.  In order to up my prayer and my steps, I’ve decided to travel to the farthest bathroom in the house and to pray the Serenity Prayer each time I go. Putting these two actions together is improving my disposition.

Bill kept himself busy by cooking two delicious trays of lasagna, one spinach lasagna and one Italian sausage.   He also cleaned the windows so we can now really appreciate the Spring sunshine that is streaming in.

People are sewing lots of masks.  Today I was approached again to see if I wanted to make them.  At this point, I feel like my efforts are better spent knitting hats.  My heart is in that healing mission. In fact, I finished my third in three days.  It’s wonderful to use what I have on hand for the good of the human race.
